The Loave family is a prominent family and fan made fictional family formally in The Sims series, originally consisting of John and Jane appeared as one of the starting families in The Sims 2.

The Loave Family introduced in The Sims 2 made by Jonathan on May 22nd, 2009. First was a single dad John Loave, a daughter Jane Loave, and a dog golden retriever Toby, and they lived in Pleasant view. He randomly called their last name Loave in his own mind and made himself an active household family in The Sims 2. The name of Loave is a fish and bread but they were not born in a bread maker or in the sea.

Jonathan pronounced Loave as “Lo-aaa-ve” as a loving family, but it pronounced as “Loaf” as a bread, corrected from his sister. He was embarrassed about the last name, and he wanted to change it. But in few days later, he kept the last name. The Loave family has expanded and continued every Sims series from The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4.
